hurry up and fix up this place... i want to see the good stuff up here...
This blog is sacrilegious and terribly untrue. The only reason this blog was created was to pay some bills. If this was really just a service to help sisters get married there wouldn't be any ads on this site.Only follow the advice in this blog if you want a man to treat you like he's doing you a favor by dating you and you hate yourself. The men that are writing this blog are no different than the person who created the Missionary calendar. They are trying to make a profit by exploiting church members. You give the Church a horrible public presence. If I were investigating the Church and I read this blog I would never join. I would think the Church was full of oppressive, self-righteous misogynists. Wait! That's already our public image.Way to vaildate it, guys!
Have to kind of agree with anonymous above. But I love the blog anyway because it makes me laugh. The new layout is clever and entertaining.. bordering on inappropriate? Maybe. I am genuinely curious what your own priesthood leaders would have to say about it though.
I, for one, am glad your back. I find the site funny, maybe it's because I'm a guy... I don't know. As for being sacrilegious, I fail to see how, seriously there is not anything other than North Ameriacan Mormon Culture being satired... and that is NOT the gospel of Jesus Christ. Welcome back.
I'm so glad it's back! It's hilarious! And I am a single twentysomething Mormon female. But I'm a little upset I'm not the only "Lindsay" running around on here.
"I fail to see how, seriously there is not anything other than North Ameriacan Mormon Culture being satired... and that is NOT the gospel of Jesus Christ. Welcome back."It's primarily Utah Mormon Culture, because by and large, a lot of what is discussed is not an issue in most of the country (like NCMO's)
Not a fan of the new layout... Not going to lie, it's pushing it a bit far.
I am not a fan either. It is not pushing it too far, you've gone too far. I don't know what sort of statement you are trying to make by changing the layout, but you and I both know, Peter Preisthood, you are making a mockery out of the Church's image. Good job- you ruffled a few feathers, but just what do YOU consider going too far? I for one am not some empty headed girl who reads this blog and sings your praise on it just because some anonymous male blogger makes me feel validated by picking on me (and you WONDER why women date jerks??). Those are the only girls who think this is "the funniest effing blog I have ever seen in my entire life". Yes, it is an original and hilarious idea to write about all of the faux paus women do that keep men away, especially in "Mormon culture". You aren't the first though- ever heard of a book called "He's Just Not That Into You"?? Or maybe you saw the commercial for the movie of the same name that ran a million times on TV. You say you are writing this blog to help women, but clearly you are just riding a wave of ridiculous popularity (don't say you aren't- you get your kicks every time someone comments on this page) writing about a gender who has seen through your smartass cocky remarks and behavior and kicked you to the curb. You'll be sorry you wrote this one day.
The issues presented in this blog are things we need to overcome in Mormon culture--not accommodate.
the more we blatantly ignore the issues, the more we enable them by NOT confronting them or standing up to those who empower their mere existence...
I love your blog, but sometimes I can get on and sometimes I cannot and it is listed as private. Can you please add me to your list or friends or whatever it is on a blog???? I would be gratefully indebted :D Thank you!
